Webinar: Seed Policy Design and Implementation – Lessons from West Africa

Watch the video to hear how stakeholders are collaborating toward significant seed policy reform in Nigeria and Ghana.

This webinar is organised under ISSD Africa Topic 4: Enabling Seed Policies. The event is hosted by the CGIAR Research Program on Policies, Institutions, and Markets (PIM) led by IFPRI. The topic of the webinar considers the following question:

What are the gaps in the design and implementation of national policies governing the seed system, and how are the gaps both understood and addressed by key stakeholders to improve access to improved varieties and quality seed?

The webinar will bring together private sector participants, regulators, and policy-makers in the seed systems in Ghana, Nigeria, and beyond to learn from short presentations on the ongoing experiences in the two countries and an interactive panel discussion on the presentations.
