digital tools for Resilient seed systems – WATCH NOW AND JOIN THE DISCUSSION

The Alliance of Bioversity and CIAT and ISSD Africa are hosting an online sharing of digital tools used for resilient seed system development, culminating in an interactive webinar on April 29. Watch tool videos now and shape the discussion.

Providing farmers and farming communities with information and options on seeds and varieties is proven to boost the demand and use of quality seed as well as promote crop diversity.

A number of digital tools have been released or are under development, which seek to put more information in the hands of farmers and other local actors. Much is being learned about the efficacy and design considerations for such tools and their processes of adoption. This online sharing process explores these lessons, aiming to forge a better understanding of what works, what doesn’t and what gaps remain.

What to do:

  • Watch the video introductions to the digital tools made by the developers of the tools themelves. Hear why the tools were made and how they were deployed and used.
  • Below each video you can find a link where you are encouraged to leave your response and questions to the tool developers. These questions shape the discussion on April 29th .
  • Register for the webinar, join the discussion and hear how these tools and others are designed, developed and how other professionals might use and adapt the tools.

When: April 29th @ 15:00 – 16:00 CEST
